B&B visitors can enjoy the beautiful gardens surrounding the house and in addition can have the use of the tennis court in the grounds. There are wonderful walks from the house itself through woods owned by the National Trust, and the Dartmoor National Park is on the doorstep. The gardens are open occasionally under the National Gardens Scheme, and have been the subject of various magazine articles in the past.
Formerly the Refectory for the monks at Buckland, the Cider House became a Cider barn after the Dissolution and then a comfortable private house in the middle of the 20th Century.
B&B charges are £40 per person per night, with a supplement of £5 for single occupancy. Single-night stays can be accommodated by agreement only, in which case there will be a supplement per person of £5

Bookings may be made by phone on 01822 853285, or by e-mail to sarah.stone@cider-house.co.uk.
