Possibly the Best Bed & Breakfast in Devon
We have four beautiful rooms for Bed and Breakfast guests that are individually styled and sympathetically enhance the character of the Cider House. There are beautiful window seats which offer stunning views and perfect reading corners, with antique furniture and unique pieces to make each room feel like a home from home.
There are roll top baths to soak and unwind in and fine linen and pocket sprung mattresses to ensure a perfect night’s sleep.
Our bedrooms come with the promise of a first class breakfast - home grown food from the fabulous walled kitchen garden of Buckland Abbey, cooked on the Aga.
The breakfast tables enjoy views of the gardens and with doors opening onto the garden – weather permitting - guests may choose to breakfast outside.
The air of tranquillity and calm is palpable both outside and inside this fabulous b&b in Devon. We are surrounded by 700 acres of National Trust land and gardens.
The relaxing and stylish guests' breakfast and drawing room is situated in the oldest part of this unique Devon B&B; Cider House was originally an apple barn and brew house for the Estate and the granite supports for the old cider press are a charming feature.
